About Us

Heritage of West Nyack, Ltd. formed in the spring of 2012 to benefit the hamlet of West Nyack and to preserve and promote its heritage.  

It was formed by members of the West Nyack Hamlet Revitalization Committee who recognized that there were many issues and opportunities for community benefit which extend beyond the physical reconstruction of the central hamlet.  Heritage realizes we have a rich colonial heritage, beautiful settings and many interested residents who can transform our little hamlet into a charming and vibrant place to live. This new organization will also provide community input to the Town of Clarkstown for the upcoming hamlet revitalization, now scheduled for this year.


Heritage will utilize a bulletin board at the West Nyack Post Office and this website to keep you informed as well as announce programs and seek donations from residents. Donors will be asked to give $15 for an individual membership, $25 for a family membership or $100 for retail.  Corporate sponsorships are also welcome and will be sought.

This not-for-profit corporation has been granted IRS 501 (c) (3) status to permit tax-deductible contributions from you. 

Comments and/or suggestions for the hamlet and/or donations may be left in the Heritage of West Nyack suggestion box in the West Nyack Post Office lobby, or mailed to Heritage of West Nyack, PO Box 46, West Nyack, NY 10994 . Donations may also be made on-line through PayPal.
